GETTING MARRIED

A South African marriage is legally valid just about everywhere, but it will be bound by the laws of the husbands country of domicile. The basic legalities of Cape Town marriage are very simple! All you really need is a marriage officer, two witnesses and of course a partner!

Ivory Events will happily arrange all the legalities for your wedding day, making it a stress free and enjoyable occasion for all!

VISAS

No visa is required by EU Nationals, so as long as you carry a valid passport you will be granted a temporary visitors permit for up to 3 months.

INOCULATIONS

No inoculations are necessary if you are visiting Cape Town and the surrounds, however it is wise that your polio and tetanus vaccinations are up to date. Most of South Africa is Malaria free, but if you are considering combining your holiday with an inland safari, speak to a travel agent or your local GP.
